Water Jet
The high pressure pump on this machine forces water through an orifice the size of a ball point pen at 2200 mph. Mixing ground up garnet into the water allows Galleria Stone to make intricate precision cuts in stone. The capability of this machine is combined with the artistic talent and creativity of the GS workforce to create a variety of products ranging from inlaid corporate logo’s to works of art including stone pictures, medallions and borders. Custom cuts have also been made for customers ranging from VCT used in public buildings to concrete pavers.

Step 1 - The design concept is drawn on a computer and transmitted to the waterjet controller.
Step 2 - The stone pieces are precisely cut on the waterjet machine.

| Step 3 - Finished pieces are laid out on a finishing table (upside down so the design can be glued from the bottom). |
The accuracy of the waterjet allows pieces to fit together like a puzzle with virtually no seams. |
